Well… three years has just flown by, and I guess it’s time to update *again*.
I decided I’m due to move into the late ’90s and start doing something other than text-editor-hand-written html. In fact, as you can see, I’m making a full 15 year leap and going for a psuedo-cms/blogging system known as WordPress. I’ve used WordPress for a couple other sites I help with, and have been impressed enough with its flexibility and ease of use to go this far and replace my code with their code.
I would be out of place not to also mention the Atahualpa theme. They’ve done an amazing job of skinning WordPress and allowing a fine degree of control over many (most? all?) aspects of how the site looks to visitors. I’m still exploring.
As time allows, you’ll see some of that control exercised as the graphics change, the fonts move away from “Tahoma Big” – not sure what they’ll become, but they will change.
Also on the list is finding some genealogy software that can be used online – so various branches of our family can contribute what they know about our relatives. As always – it’s a work in progress.

Hi, this is a comment.
You too can add your two cents worth, just log in and leave a reply.
Are you going to update the TVC (West and East) website with scores and stats…I really enjoy looking at it every year. I appreciate what you do….Thank you, John
John…
In years past, I’ve taken care of the Saginaw Valley League stats and Bob Linton has taken care of the TVC stats at http://www.dornbos.com/tvc.
With my daughter moving on to college, I have retired from trying to keep up with the SVL stats. I asked for volunteers to take over the SVL stats, but found no takers. So – I get no credit for the TVC stats. I’ve forwarded your comment on to Bob – maybe he’ll be inspired to update things. Consider dropping him a note to ask if there is some way you can give him a hand.
After being used to club soccer with standings readily available, I found it frustrating coming in to high school soccer and having no idea where we stood in the race to win the SVL title.
